Jammer Direct is proud to announce another phase of the bold experiment. The JamNation Celebration Summer Concert Series! This is a series of events lasting through the summer and possibly into the fall and might lead into the JammerOki online voting live karaoke competition. JamNation Celebration is designed to bring national acts to Fort Wayne FREE OF COVER to the Fort Wayne community! All shows will be at Kaysan's 5th Down.

So far we have two confirmed acts: Ballyhoo and Corey Lamb. More are soon to follow as we finalise the contracts.

We here at JD decided to take a month off from our everyday site activities and do some much needed upgrades to the site itself. There is a totally new JamMedia section with an updated player, Higher quality converter, and more features like video series, channels, screen notifications and an RSS feed generated for that Jammer's videos on every video page. You can also rate a video from inside the player from any site the player is embedded on. A mini player feature has also been added to every page that displays a random video from the ever expanding collection.

The JamNouncements, Local News, and Movies in Fort Wayne sections have been greatly enhanced with more news and features. This brings you more info at the touch of a tab.

JD on Yahoo! Go launched March 31st and already has over 20,000 downloads! Yahoo! Go is a mobile service that can be found on 12,000 different model cell phones in 40 countries.

Jammer of the Month will resume in May. I decided to take a break from this this month to get the above features active.

Another feature that will resume in May will be The 4th Judge. Judging will resume on May 2nd and the results from Stage 1 will be posted at that time too.
