Woot!

I am way stoked about this site. Local music is something that matters to me. Yeh for sure I see some national acts.  But its the local scene that works for me.

Genres, I try not to pay attention to them. I prefer to go by the energy of the music, the music itself, the lyrics and what they say to me. The stage presence of the band members, what some may call showmanship. Is there movement by the people on stage? Do they remain in one place.? Depending on the style it's about what works for the act. Lyrics or just instrumental? Again I love them both.

Original music is my handsdown choice to listen to. I want to know and experience what the band is attempting to tell us when performing.

Local? To me it can be a band from the city, from the area, the region. I even consider a band local that may be a couple hours away.
